Wow, what a piano.
First word that came into my head upon first playing this pack: "Wow". Favourite chord to play with this pack: G Minor 7. This is simply an excellent piano, thank you so much for sharing this as well as your story. Playing this piano, I felt like I was in the room. Plenty of dynamic layers and the piano sounds fabulous up and down the keyboard. The GUI is simple but effective, however the contrast of colours with the dials could be clearer. I will keep coming back to this piano I can imagine, thanks once again for sharing.
I'd pay for this!
First word that came into my head upon first playing this pack: "Steal!". Favourite chord to play with this pack: F# Minor. As the title says, I would have happily paid for these longs, they sounds fabulous and to have 4 mic options is so good. This pack seems to have captured a sound which you only seem to get with bands in 'The North'. As soon as I started playing I was instantly reminded of the Scottish Ensemble. I don't feel I have much use for the low drones but I certainly had fun with the main longs patch. I think the general attack time of the samples could be a touch faster but other than that, well done and thank you!
Otherworldly
First word that came into my head upon first playing this pack: "Otherworldly". Favourite chord to play with this pack: C Minor. The pad really is the star of the show in this pack and once I found that I needed to increase the release from the default position I really started to get into this pack. Found myself noodling away and wallowing in the pad for a little while! The keys part feels a little too harsh for my liking but certainly captures the glass vibe! GUI could do with tidying up a bit as feels a little messy and unfinished. Well done for creating something interesting!
Transported back to my childhood
First word that came into my head upon first playing this pack: "Hiss". Favourite chord to play with this pack: F Minor. These pads really took me back to playing on keyboards at school and starting to discover all the sounds in the last few sound banks! The hiss may not be to everyones taste but I personally like it. I think the reverb does highlight/amplify the hiss a little too much though so this might be something to look at.
Couldn't stop playing those low notes!
First word that came into my head upon first playing this pack: "Merry-go-round". Favourite chord to play with this pack: Ab Major. Having watched the video for this sample pack, I really wasn't expecting the sounds that came out of this pack. I was happily noodling until I accidentally went a bit low and then BOOM there they were. Gorgeous low notes which I fell in love with and kept going back to. I'm not sure that this was the point of this pack but it worked for me. I think I would have liked a cleaner sound than the one we get here, I couldn't seem to get the clean sounds from the video.
