Mantras | Requires Kontakt Full (developed using Kontakt 8). Recorded in 96kHz/32bit from traditional Tibetan bowls played with the rubbing technique, using Schoeps MK4 microphones. Features four distinct granular pads, each sculpted from raw acoustic recordings into immersive, meditative textures. Tuned to A=440 Hz.
Male and female “la-la” vocal samples across two octaves, with 4 round robins for natural variation.
OHM | Requires Kontakt Full (developed using Kontakt 7). Recorded in 96kHz from raw electric noise emitted by a machine, then processed through a Neve preamp and RHEA compressor. Features four distinct textures (Prototypes I–IV). Tuned to A=440 Hz.
This instrument is made from 5 bass bagpipe drones, 1 mid bagpipe drone and 1 hi bagpipe drone.
This is a sampling of an August Foerster Czech Republic 190(cm) piano tuned to a Young's #1 well temperament at 444 Hz
Sampled two types of beer bottles and one PET bottle. Each sound can be individually panned and volume-adjusted for flexible layering and creative control.

Every pack submitted to Pianobook should contain original audio. That is, audio that is created by the Samplist/ Uploader. This could be a recording made with a microphone, or a signal created by an Oscillator or Generator. Put simply, we always advise that you should sample acoustic instruments and synths with analogue or digital oscillators that are not pre-programmed.
