The story

When creating patches, one thing I love to do is processing the samples with various plugins and gears in order to create new sounds far from what the original sampled instruments are producing.
In other word, what I love about sampling is being able to create new sounds and textures that can not exist outside of the virtual world.

HF Textures is a library containing some of that philosophy. It consists of three patches :
– Hiss Pad : Pad patch created with the raw recordings of an upright piano and treated with processing gears.
– OT Loop : Evolving loop created with the upright samples sequenced and mangled with an Elektron Octatrack.
– Muted : Muted strings upright patch.

As a sidetone, these three patches are very personal to me because they can be found in my library Hammer and Felt, my very first commercial release that has many more sounds created with the same philosophy, based around a beautiful Pleyel upright.

Hammer and Felt

I hope you’ll enjoy this library as much as I enjoyed created the sounds.

  • Amazing synthy textures!

This is an INCREDIBLE package of synthetic sounds, that come in the neatly designed style, the style of Nami Audio. There is a lot of magic happening as you explore the included presets that are really like separate instruments, and there is a very high chance that you are going to love this one.

All the sounds are high quality, they play very nicely across a big 7 octave range, and they come with a lot of options for the user to explore, from layers, to different effects, to the experience itself.

    Highly recommended to everyone!

  • Simply Beautiful

Another great library from Nami Audio. You get 3 beautiful ambient layers which can be blended to taste. All 3 of them sound great on their own but hearing all of them together is really magical. The mod wheel can be used to add a sub layer which provides more depth. These sounds are great for minimal and ambient music and I will probably use them with some piano playing on top. I highly recommend this!

  • Fun and different

Don't let the apparent simplicity of this instrument trick you into thinking it's a one-trick pony. Far from it. The presets are just the start, you can adjust the balance of the three patches to create a vast range of differing sounds. All are cleanly recorded, the melodic patches are easy to play and the loop patch adds another avenue to explore.

  • Exceptional sounding atmospheres

These are some beautiful, other-worldly sounds that sound truly extraordinary. I really like the GUI and I love the sub knob, which allows you to add powerful sub-bass. You can hear that the sounds are mixed very well, they sound really professional. It's a really useful library to have, and also a very fun one!
