Justin Trieger’s Reviews

  • Delightful discovery

This library was the perfect complement to orchestral arrangement I’m working on. I’m in awe that this resource is available for free - it is well recorded, easy to play and full of character!

  • A One Trick Pony That I Will Gladly Ride

This works exceptionally as a warhorn and sounds epic when you apply some saturation and reverb. I appreciate the immense number of round robins. My only gripe is that they are so unpredictable. Some of them have these nice little performance scoops in and out of the note which are very interesting. Others just sound mostly like a big fat fundamental. Still, it was a great effect on a cue for a period drama.

  • Who doesn't love big fat b(ass)?

Wonderful little distortion box. The Overstayer is the clear favorite for me. Christian is a master of beauty in simplicity.

  • Very cool idea - could use expansion (wink wink)

I absolutely love the concept as a poor man's cello. It's a little limited in scope with only a few sampled notes, but it was so evocative that I'm making my own library built off of the idea of bowing an acoustic guitar with a violin bridge. Very clever!
