Justin Trieger
I am a multimedia composer and sound designer specializing in hybrid-orchestral material. I like to release instruments that I create for my own projects with arguably nicer interfaces for the public :-). If you have questions or need support with an instrument, you can reach me at hello@justintrieger.com.
Bowed Effigy – Primal Strings
An instrument from a lost culture. Not a violin. Not a cello. Something older.
Hears The Rubs
An incredibly rich sampling of friction mallets (aka superball mallets) on a variety of percussion instruments that can generate everything from epic explosions to subtle ambience.
Festive Celeste
A combo instrument featuring a 5.5 octave, brand new Schiedmayer celeste (celesta) and a set of Adams orchestral chimes! Multi-mic'd for a ton of tone flexibility.
Black Box
What's in the Box?! Let go of control and open Black Box, a mysterious instrument with over 33 sound sources from synths to violas and a totally randomized FX chain.
Drop Bows On Em
A 5-layer, bowed percussion ensemble capable of everything from percussion and synth emulation, to eerie textures and ambience.

Justin Trieger’s Reviews
Aching, Throbbing, Dying VIOLIN!
Leave it to Mark to invent entirely new articulations on an instrument that has been around for hundreds of years. What a great supplement to his previous work on Aleatory and VE 1. It's always amazing when an instrument inspires you to write for it rather than simply filling a role in a track.
A One Trick Pony That I Will Gladly Ride
This works exceptionally as a warhorn and sounds epic when you apply some saturation and reverb. I appreciate the immense number of round robins. My only gripe is that they are so unpredictable. Some of them have these nice little performance scoops in and out of the note which are very interesting. Others just sound mostly like a big fat fundamental. Still, it was a great effect on a cue for a period drama.
