Immerse Yourself in the Ethereal Textures of Sinewaves Vol. 3
Embark on a sonic journey with Sinewaves Vol. 3, a Kontakt library that delves into the world of ethereal textures and pad-oriented soundscapes. This unique collection of 15 instruments expands upon the legacy of its predecessors, Sinewaves Vol. 1 and Sinewaves Vol. 2, further exploring the creative potential of sine waves as fundamental building blocks of sound.
A Tapestry of Ethereal Textures
The sine waves that serve as the foundation for Sinewaves Vol. 3 were meticulously recorded in various rooms throughout Julian’s home, utilizing an AKG C1000 microphone. These sine waves were then transformed into captivating textures and pad-like sounds through a combination of guitar pedals, a Yamaha SPX 90, and the versatile effects section of Kontakt.
15 Instruments for Ethereal Sound Design
Sinewaves Vol. 3 offers a diverse array of 15 instruments, each crafted to evoke a sense of spaciousness, atmosphere, and evolving sonic textures:
Bowed Synth: Create evocative sounds reminiscent of bowed instruments.
Calm Low Sine: Immerse yourself in the tranquility of calming, low-frequency sine waves.
Corridor Flutes: Experience the ethereal resonances of flutes echoing through a corridor.

Creative Control and Sonic Flexibility
Each instrument in Sinewaves Vol. 3 features a dedicated control for manipulating the low-pass filter frequency, allowing you to shape the tonal spectrum and adapt the sound to your specific creative needs. Additionally, the versatile effects section of Kontakt provides further possibilities for sonic exploration and customization.

I've always been a fan of sine sounds as they tend to work in a variety of contexts.
While the sounds are relatively simple the programming really brings them alive and adds a lot of character.
The main downside is the the lack of any controls on the GUI. Adding some basic FX controls and ASDR etc. would make them even more usable.
A great addition to the Sinewave series!
Another 15 impressive synth pads based on sinewaves! These all are great to explore, which can be very inspiring by itself. You might not see anything in the GUI except for a nice wallpaper, but the modwheel is basically a Low Pass Filter, which is always nice to have.
Evolving Distortions has got to be my favourite!
A lot with a little
My favorite patches are "Disturbed", "Evolving Distortions", and "Warm Sine". This is a great selection of pads. I would love to see a collection of sine wave plucks for Vol.4.
Great collection of synth sounds
This pack, along with vol1 and vol2, make a great collection of synth sounds, all stemming from a sine wave, from rumbling basses to bleeps and bloops and everything inbetween.
The mod-wheel control is a sensible addition, varying the dominating sound for each of the patches.
