This passionate recreation captures the essence of the original’s searing guitar tones, transporting you back to the era of synth-pop anthems and electrifying melodies.

Unveiling the Secrets of the Depeche Mode Sound

At the heart of this recording lies a classic Fender Telecaster guitar, renowned for its bright, articulate tones and distinctive twang. To recreate the gritty, distorted sound of the original, the Telecaster was connected to a Marshall Shred Master overdrive pedal, a custom-made filter, and an Orange Tiny Terror amplifier, carefully selected for their ability to deliver the signature Depeche Mode guitar sound.

Capturing the Raw Power and Nuances

The resulting sounds were meticulously captured with an AKG C1000s microphone, preserving the raw power, intricate details, and dynamic nuances of the performance. Every note, every distortion element, and every sonic texture was faithfully captured, bringing the essence of the Depeche Mode guitar sound to life.

A Tribute to an Iconic Track

This electric guitar recording is more than just a collection of sounds; it’s a tribute to an iconic track that has captivated music lovers for decades. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the Depeche Mode sound, to experience the energy and emotion that drove the original recording, and to create your own musical interpretations.

Whether you’re a Depeche Mode enthusiast, a guitar aficionado, or simply a lover of great music, this electric guitar recording is a must-have addition to your sonic arsenal. Unleash the power of the Depeche Mode sound and let your creative spirit soar.

  • Cool Electric Guitar

I really like the slightly distorted tone of this electric guitar, it has a cool vibe to it. The 4 full octaves give you plenty of space to perform and there is a useful low pass filter connected to the mod wheel. No other options available in the GUI but what you get sounds great.

  • A nice short and delayed guitar

This fairly simple electric guitar is sampled nicely and offers a relatively short hit, with a medium distortion to it. It sounds very nice, and it goes along with a ping-pong type of delay that is tempo synced. Although it's not dynamic, the 5 round robins are good enough to make it play very well, and the full 4 octaves is a great range to have.

In the GUI you might not find any options, but the CC1/Modwheel is attached to a low pass filter, which is always nice to have.

  • Cool e-guitar

With some extra OTT and/or reverb this sounds even cooler in my opinion. I always lack good electric (and accoustic) guitars so this one's going in my collection for sure!
