NLMDA Guitar

A recreation of an 80s guitar sound...

The story

Hi everyone, I’ve made a remake/deconstruction of Never Let Me Down Again by Depeche Mode but the video is worldwide blocked, so to don’t let all the work wone get lost I’ve recorded the electric guitar with all the effects used to recreate the sound of the record. It’s a Fender Telecaster recorded through a Marshall Shred Master a custom-made filter and an Orange Tiny terror using an AKG C1000s microphone. I hope you like it.

  • A nice short and delayed guitar

This fairly simple electric guitar is sampled nicely and offers a relatively short hit, with a medium distortion to it. It sounds very nice, and it goes along with a ping-pong type of delay that is tempo synced. Although it's not dynamic, the 5 round robins are good enough to make it play very well, and the full 4 octaves is a great range to have.

In the GUI you might not find any options, but the CC1/Modwheel is attached to a low pass filter, which is always nice to have.
