Normal Mothman’s Reviews
Professional Quality!
This was one of the first Sample Packs I downloaded on here, and man, what a joy that was! This is an incredibly good and professional collection of Inspiring samples! The pads are clean and bright, the swell is an incredibly easy-to-customize tool, the Swarms are a nice and characterful collection of plucks, and, not to be forgotten, the DI/Clean sounds are just incredibly good guitars! Really knocked it out of the park with this one! If you're curious to see what a beginner composer can quickly cook up with just this and some drums, feel free to check this link: https://soundcloud.com/user-921455659/62-reissue-stratocaster-bedroom-drum-kit?si=6911bb694bf44d9687641d002e2a6489
Vesatile and Clean
This Drumkit is a nice, clean, and fairly standard drum kit. Regardless, it still does a lot right! The main body of the drums is very good, the hi-hats and crashes sound a wee bit weak, but that can be forgiven. The reverb is way too hostile on the DecentSampler version, but I don't know if that can nessecarily be changed. What makes this Drumkit as versatile as it is is the outtakes that were included. They add a lot of character, even to simple patterns, and allow for a lighter and much less energy filled drum sound without changing velocity too much. Here's a little diddy I cooked up to show the drums in action, in case you wanted to hear what a beginner could do with sounds like these. https://soundcloud.com/user-921455659/62-reissue-stratocaster-bedroom-drum-kit?si=a94e050c8ccf411cbb8ee63f2ebdc29d
