  • The Stylophone- reimagined!

This is quite something. The basic stylophone sound has been retained (if you want that) but really what we have here is a rich variety of tones that have a beautifully retro character. There's touches of clavoline (think Telstar, Baby You're A Rich Man etc.) and much more. Weirdly I found a sound that did a passable replacement for Uilleann pipes on some traditional Irish tunes
Everything works as you would want it to - the GUI is superb.
I did notice a very odd slight glitch on A5 but I would not want it "fixed" - it's totally in keeping with the primitive origins of this very fine library.
A fine example of a labour of love - and generosity too in making it available to all.

  • Distinctive clean sound that encourages experiment

This is a lovely and unique instrument. Nicely produced and sounds very even and well intonated to my (amateur) ears.
The "distressed" set is not really my cup of tea but useful for many to have it - it's well done but the sound doesn't suit my style..
Overall the very atmospheric character is an inspiration that could find a place in a number of genres. For me at least this is a welcome new way of adding a bottom end to compositions.

  • Amplifying the voice of struggle

Farmehr has done something wonderful here. An ingenious, celebratory and subversive act. I suppose he is right to say this is not a "practical" library but to use these samples with attention is to imagine the actions of many brave women and (I have proud to say) men.

  • Simple is good.

As others have said this is a no frills string library with minimal controls but which sounds great across the range and can be of use in any number of genres.
Many thanks to Christian (yet again!) and also to Ed Harper for generously doing the conversion.

  • Lovingly recreated Omnichord

I only played one of these for a few minutes back in the day but this sampled version has caught the vibe terrifically well. Very clean and balanced sound and the GUI does a great job of allowing access to the sounds.
This cannot have been easy so the end result is very impressive and the sounds themselves are sure to spark a creative response.
