The story

I’m delighted to introduce OHM Kontakt Library (Full Licence Only) – a bold and uncompromising instrument blending the analog legacy of the ARP 2600 with the raw electricity of the physical world. At the heart of this library lies a genuine recording of machine-emitted electrical noise, captured in its purest form and transformed through the sonic craftsmanship of a Neve preamp and a RHEA compressor.

What makes this library particularly special is its fusion of synthesis and reality: the initial electric signal, unpredictable and alive, was shaped using classic analog gear, yielding a dense, tactile sound with both industrial weight and musical depth. The result is four evolving textures – known as Prototypes – each offering its own interpretation of OHM’s core identity: heavy, electric, and deeply resonant in the sub and midrange spectrum.

The library was tuned to A=440 Hz, ensuring seamless integration into contemporary musical environments.

Fantastic job! This library has so much saturated character. The blending of the ARP 2600 makes me feel like I've been transported to a 1980's arcade. PRO TIP: Go to the backend and scroll down to apply a volume envelope. This library truly shines as a plucked instrument.
