The story

When I learned for my final exam at university I whistled Beethoven’s violin concerto and found a blackbird in the garden answering the tunes. Glad about the distraction I started to teach the blackbird and after some weeks we both luckily passed our exams. Fore some years the blackbirds in our garden were a bit “Ludwig van” branded.

Listening to a blackbird this summer I found this bird less eager to learn classic music. So I had the idea to make an instrument of its twitter. This opened new possibilities. Have fun to explore them!

Use the menu or the key switches (midi notes 29 to 34) to select looping and the strength of the blackbird’s trill. Also you can adjust filter, ADSR, reverb, chorus and delay.
