Ambient Axe
The samples are all taken from my Schecter JL7 7 string guitar going through 9 ambient FX chains in my Fractal Axe FX2. Each ambient preset has been sampled using both the rear and front EMG pickups, giving a total of 18 sound options.
The story
Over time, I have built up a collection of ambient FX presets for guitar in my Fractal Axe FX2 modeler. They are based on a variety of amp models and impulse responses using a range of digital effects.
For each of the 9 FX chains, I sampled the full range of a 7 string guitar, using both the front and rear pickups (selectable as R or F above Pickups). You can also change the sounds quite considerably by using the low and high pass filters (turn the O knobs).
The futuristic looking guitar image was created using Leonardo AI (similar to the Artificial Intelligence program MidJourney but free upon application to the development trial).
