The Saxodrone
The anti-saxophone library. Think pads, percussive hits and rhythmic motors.
The story
Sampled and built with the help of Christian Henson to prove to him that it is possible to create a saxophone library that even he would use! This baritone saxophone was recorded using a Coles 4038 and Neumann KM184
The idea was not to create a flawless reproduction of the instrument but to embrace its character and create a library of syth pads, percussive hits and driving rhythmic motors.
Requires a FULL version of Kontakt Version 7, will not work on “Player” versions of Kontakt given away with other commercial libraries – For recommended spec see here: https://www.native-instruments.com
