The Bowls

Hi Pianobook! I came up with the idea for this pack when I found a giant metal mixing bowl in the basement and dropped it on the floor by accident. It turns out that bowls actually make great hand-drums, but I decided to take this in another direction.

So after tracking down another bowl and getting my H1N dangling over it, I made a few minutes of recordings with an old yellow cymbal mallet I had lying around. About a dozen hours of messing around later and I had this. Hope you enjoy, I’m looking forward to making more sounds like this!
