Swallow Guitar

A sampled guitar with several timbre options and two synth layers sampled out of a Vital session.

The story

I tried my hand at sampling for a pianobook challenge a few months ago and loved it. So I thought I’d try sampling the first instrument I had in arms reach, my guitar. I’ve worked on it here and there for a few months and I thought it was at a place where I wanted to share it, so here it is; the Swallow Guitar.

I also added two sample sets from Vital patches I made to thicken the low-end and pluck-y-ness to taste.

I’m still figuring out how best to implement features and types of sounds, so feel free to give any feedback in the reviews.

Hope you enjoy,
-Wind

Rather unique sounding guitar. Well recorded (sampled) and very playable and versatile. I like it. Thank you, Wind.

  • A beautiful guitar-based collection!

This is a fantastic DecentSampler instrument that combines six different layers of guitar-based sounds into one package, accompanied by excellent, clean design language and aesthetics.

All the layers are very well recorded and they compliment very nicely each other. The handy knobs on the left make this instrument very versatile by letting the user blend those layers together. Along with the full ADSR settings in the middle, and the effects panel on the right, the whole package is a fantastic solution to those who want to create unique based on the many different voices of a guitar.

Very nicely done, and highly recommended!
