Santoor
A rusty santoor barely playable

The story
This rusty old santoor was entrusted to me by a great Egyptian
musician friend who has sadly since passed.
The tuning posts were seized tight and the strings were rusty.
I chose a handful of notes that had all three strings closely tuned.
It was recorded to DAT in about 1993 and sampled on an Akai S950
(Anyone remember that stuff?)
Rebuilt recently in Kontakt 7 after finding the samples on an old Zip disk.
The instrument has now gone missing but I still have these old 12 bit
samples to remember it by.
Added an old spring reverb IR just for fun boingyness.
