MDM Strat v1.0 F

I have sampled here one of my electric guitars, good, old and beloved Stratocaster. I was curious to see what it would sound like. And will be that possible to ‘transpose’ the soul of its sound into this computing environment.

It has four groups of samples:

1. Sustain sound, with three variations:
1.1 Pick Position 0 (middle) – five velocity layers
1.2 Pick Position +7 (to bridge) – five velocity layers
1.3 Pick Position -7 (to neck) – five velocity layers
2. Bridge Mute – three velocity layers
3. Mute – three velocity layers
4. Chucka Full – three velocity layers

…and they are selected using key-switches. Instrument is loaded by file “MDM Strat v1.0 F.sfz”

I did make a short simple testing demo using only Pick Position 0 and Chucka Full, and it is on:

The “F” in “v1.0 F” stands for “.flac” in order to mark which version it is, flac or wav. (Wav version is around 2.5 GB, while flac one is of some 210 MB – and still keeping very quality, and very expressive, sound.)

It is tested in Sforzando v1.981.
