MDM Acoustic Guitar v1.0 F

Here I have sampled one of my acoustic guitars, and made it being free SFZ instrument.

The story

I have sampled here one of my acoustic guitars – and only to just see ‘what will be if” (I do this, not if I ‘put these two wires together’). To be honest, ‘I had no better business to do’, and needed a challenge.

It has four types of articulations, in two variations, for pick (plectrum) and fingers:

Harmonics Finger – three velocity layers
Harmonics Pick – three velocity layers
Noises Finger – three velocity layers
Noises Pick – three velocity layers
Palm Mute Finger – three velocity layers
Palm Mute Pick – three velocity layers
Sustain Finger – five velocity layers
Sustain Pick – five velocity layers

…and they are selected using key-switches.

The sweet thing turned out to be very expressive. You can make a real ‘chaos’ using its articulations, and playing with velocities.

I did make a short simple demo using only Sustain Pick and Noises Pick.

Midi file of it is included in the package. In it, you can see how I got what I got.

The “F” in “v1.0 F” stands for “.flac” in order to mark which version it is, flac or wav. (Wav version is around 2.5 GB, while flac one is of some 250 MB – and still keeping very quality sound.)

It is tested in Sforzando v1.981.

I enjoy much playing with it, and hope you would too.
