Glass Keys

One of the first Kontakt instruments I ever made, this is a playable keyboard sourced from a wine glass.

The story

I was working on an album of production music that conceptualized the breaking of glass. Listen to “Ways to Break a Window” wherever you stream music.

Reviews

  • Simple but extremely useful

Yes, just one sample, yes, there's not 4 round robins and 5 layers of velocity, yes, there's no real GUI.
    But who cares?
You always will need this kind of sound one of these days. And if it's not "exactly what you need", click on the wrench and edit it. On my side I've made a "long version" with a slower attack and a longer release, and it's perfect for what I need, the simple sound of a glass rubbed by a fwet finger.
    Good job, Kevin
