Dacr Shaker

Real shaker filled with millet

ByDacr

The story

I found a real drink shaker in the bar cabinet. I brought a bag of millet from the kitchen and filled it with it.
I really like using it in live recordings, so I thought I would share the sound of my shaker with you in a sample library.
2 types sound (clear and muffled), both directions of shaking sampled, 5 samples / sound type, 3 velocity layer.

Have fun! 🙂

  • Simple, Effective, and Perfectly Shaken

This shaker doesn't overcomplicate its purpose. It's straight to the point and includes just enough dynamics and round robins while taking up minimal space on your hard drive. I would love to see this format to be expanded across the full range of the keyboard with other shakers using the two-key format. This library is perfect for adding an extra layer to rhythm tracks.
