The story
For more flexibility in my projects, I recorded my Schlagwerk – Quick Construction Kit – Cajon using two microphones (front, centered on the upper rim; back, towards the sound hole). Both signals can be balanced.
Bass, mid and slap tones were recorded for each hand (8 round-robins for each tone and hand).

Its a Cajon...
It's exactly what it says it is. Well recorded and well presented. the GUI is fabulous and the mic balance fader is a really nice touch! Great stuff!
Very close to perfection!
This is as good as it can get for a free cajon! Not only you get a very nice sounding cahon right from the get-go... It also comes with a very unique and extremely smart GUI, along with perfectly placed key mapping. The GUI will show you at which side of the Cahon you are playing, and you might realise that each side of the key map represents a hand/hitting side of the cahon.
On top of that you get 8 (!) round robbins, nice dynamics AND two mic placements along with full mix sliders. There is also a verb included. My only issue on this, is that the samples in the "left" microphone contain way too much noise for my taste.
That's it! I can't find anything else to complain about. Awesome work!
What a GREAT Cajon!
Love this Cajon. Everyone who ever searched for a cajon sound can stop searching. This a really great. Love the visual feedback in the GUI and it just sounds like it should. A must try!
