Street Organ
Sampled screeching and breaking sounds morphed into an organ.

The story
When Spitfire and HBO hosted the Westworld Scoring Competition, I was looking for a way to make my composition stand out. I thought that creating a sample instrument based off sounds from the clip might do the trick. From the car chase scene, I sampled the cars screeching and breaking. I thought it might make a cool synth instrument, but to my surprise (and initial disappointment) it sounded like an organ. Adding an organ sound to my score was hardly unique. But I ended up accepting it for what it was. At the end of my Westworld Competition video on Youtube, I show the sound I sampled and how I used it in the composition.

Reviews
wow...just wow
This is the first time I've been compelled to leave a review on Pianobook, and I've been collecting instruments for the past 5 years on here. This is just a fantastic instrument, the sound, the lo-fidelity filth of the city streets just baked in, the potential for all types of music creation from hiphop to orchestral, simply amazing. Cordaro you and your team gotta give yourselves a pat on the back for this one, what an inspirational creation you have brought to life!
Dusty Hammond!
This is a really sort of average to above average organ sound with a really unique source. It's well recorded and processed, and the programming is really good, so it's very playable. I don't personally really use organ much, but having owned a couple of Hammonds in my life, I like the character of this one a lot. It has a lot of grit and noise in a good way. If organ is your thing, this would be a great library for you!
A really cool organ sound!
The harp/dulcimer like attack gives this organ a unique flavour, whilst still keeping a sense of familiarity. The library has been recorded and programmed well and feels very playable. The controls on the GUI are also useful when looking to dial in your own sounds. Nice job!
