Divine Errors: Part 1 Free Version
A Decent Sampler pack featuring three sample layers and a Sub Synth, using long-form samples that continuously evolve into rich atmospheric textures. Ideal for ambient music, film scoring, modern classical, and experimental sound design, Divine Errors invites exploration and rewards subtle performance and modulation.

The story
In my quest for long samples that never stand still, I recorded several seemingly unrelated sounds: a guitar processed through an Eventide H90, an old harmonium, the sound of skating on black ice, strange textures from my modular setup, a preset from the Hydra synth, and a few more oddities.
This resulted in Divine Errors: Part 1, where I explored unexpected and interesting combinations.
The free version includes a limited set of samples and four patches (as a starting point for you), while the full version offers a much larger selection. Now that Decent Sampler includes several standard synth options, I added a Sub Synth layer for extra cinematic depth. All four layers have their own volume and mute controls, as well as individual high-pass filters.
I also took the time to expand the filter options, adding a filter envelope that opens up even more sonic possibilities.
The free version is great fun to play with, allowing you to dramatically reshape the sound of the presets. I’ve included four presets to explore, but it’s very easy to create your own.
The full version is available at an introductory price of €29 via www.renger.online.
