MyDuduk

Wind instrument (Duduk) generated with natural sounds.

The story

I devoted a lot of time to early music, acquiring a great appreciation for the sounds of traditional instruments from around the world, especially those from the East. In some cases, I had the opportunity to purchase some, and I still have some.

In this case, I used several sounds from a classic duduk in C. I extended the range of the original by two octaves so it wouldn’t lose its distinctive sound. This makes it attractive and original. The range is D1 – D3.

After only a few minutes with this instrument I was able to use it in the way I wanted. It was very easy to play and what I heard, and the way it played, was a large influence on what I was able to do. And where I went with it. Thank you.
