Cello Harm
A very raw, close up sounding cello playing a mixture of natural and artificial harmonics.
The story
I play the cello, and often incorporate it into my music. I love to use Harmonics as a sort of synth pad, so I decided to make my own. It was recorded with a close up AKG P420 mic with a collection of natural and artificial harmonics. I wanted a very raw sounding sample, so I didn’t add much FX. Feel free to add your own plugins to make it sound according to your taste, enjoy.

Out of all sample libraries I've ever toyed with this one feels the most human to me. I get the sense that I'm in the room playing the Cello myself. Its raw and emotional. I love it & can't wait to hear what else Will makes in the future!
