I’ve been a musician and sound engineer for quite a few years. I started by playing clarinet and piano in elementary school — first classical, then jazz, and then a little rock. And then I injured my right hand, and stopped playing. But I never gave up on live sound and recording. It was anticipated that my hand would never heal correctly, but I eventually found that I could use it completely normally. I figured — correctly — that I’d be able to play keyboards again, and immediately purchased a used Yamaha CP-35 from a friend. I’ve not looked back! Decent Sampler version sounds great, but there's a problem with the UI
Lovin' the sound of Global Swarm and while I like the design of UI, I'm seeing an issue with the UI. I'm working in Ableton Live 11 Suite 11.1.5 using the very latest VST3 Decent Sampler plug-in, in this case on an Acer laptop with a Ryzen 3 processor and AMD Radeon graphics running Windows 11. If I close the UI, and then re-open it, the sliders all disappear at the default size. If I stretch the plugin window out, the sliders appear, but not in color, and the operation of the sliders is a little bit "hinky." Otherwise, this is a great sample pack!
Behavior is the same on my studio workstation (Ryzen 5 2600, nVidia 1660 Super, Windows 10) running the same version of Ableton Live, and also when using the latest version of Studio One Pro.
It would also be nice, in the VST version, to be able to save your settings without having to use the Preset Editor.
I've encountered no problems with the standalone version. I looked for a place to submit a bug report, but it was not apparent -- this was the only place I could find to leave a comment.
