Utterly beautiful
I think I've just found my new favourite "soft" piano. So expressive, so warm, not too wooly and drenched with feeling and emotion. Not sure I need the "snow" but the control over "warm" and splosh is welcome. The best thing about this piano thought is just how playable it is - very even with great dynamic spread it's just a pleasure to play; which I will be doing for some time. Could Christian's Schimmel go on to become the most famous "media piano" in history? Quite possibly if this version is anything to go by.
Cloak yourself in ivory and felt
Not wishing to give an apple to teacher, but this one is really playable and contains a pinch of special. Sometimes, the pro types make prototypes that help us types compose without compromise. Get this one, you won't regret it, Cheers, Christian.
A super usable felt piano!
Although it's called a prototype, this one is a perfectly usable and great sounding felt piano- it's quite similar to the LABS soft piano, but in a more lightweight package, being around 68 MB. Really fun and inspiring to just play around with! =)
Perfect Prototype
Long individual notes on this sound amazing. Poignant and a bit haunting. Excellent recordings and very playable.
Sounds like more than a prototype
This sounds alot better to me than the MVP prototype. Its full warm, all the characteristic we associate with felt. For a fairly small download size its pretty playable and dynamic. Of course the high end sounds great but i also think the mid range sounds great. Theres often kind of a weird resonance here but that inst present with this piano. The only complaint would be that the sample editing doesn't seem as comesisent as it could be. It kind of feels like the attack on some notes is different than others. This is a prototype after all and its still really nice.
