  • Remind me of an old school piano

Another different textured piano library. I think Christian is an expert of capturing the characteristic of each piano. This one has beautiful high keys, so simple and tender textured sound.

  • Needs a little cleaning...

Superb sound from the piano which unfortunately suffers from a little noise and sloppy sample cropping. Tidying those things up would make this instrument great for use. Lots of character and definitely meets the "bold, stately, and dignified" expectations! Good work!

  • A multi-faceted jewel

The demo I created emerged completely from the sound of the piano: bright, assertive and somehow jaunty. It will tell you something about the strengths of this instrument that a song-length piece of music evolved from the resonance of a couple of notes. I’m no pianist but this piano inspired me to try and sound like one. Maybe you need just a spark of motivation to start on your next composition. This sparkling piano could be your musical equivalent of the northern lights. The Kontakt GUI is just the default, vanilla interface but frankly the instrument has enough character all of its own to make up for that.

  • Not a favorite from christian.

While the actual sound of this piano is pretty nice, christian has much better pianos on piano book both sound wise and programming wise. The sound is good but it doesn't stand out to me and instantly inspire me the way some of his others do. Also as mentioned by others, some of the sample start times and releases sound choppy and a bit un natural and when you hold down notes for too long other notes are automatically played. I just think there are alot better options on pianobook but thats what's so cool, we have so many options here and we can all give each other feedback and improve.

  • Hold some random keys for 15 seconds for a surprise.

Perform this test: Open this patch, push some random keys and hold them down with either your hands or with the sustain pedal. If you do that for 15 seconds you will get some random melodies lol. Other than the badly cropped samples, this piano has a very nice vintage aesthetic, but not too much.

There is some noise to be heard, but it's very minimal. Keep in mind that at the default volume setting in Kontakt you might get clipped if you go hard on it - I mean, REAL HARD on it. If you bring it down another -1 you will be good to go!
