The story
This is a lovely Yamaha U1E Full Studio Upright that came with a house my parents rented back in 2011. The owners ended up selling it to us. I am happy to say that this instrument has carried me through my early musical career as a pianist and then eventually as a conductor for score study and finally as a composer. I made countless musical breakthroughs on this piano. I decided to sample it for its unique timbre and also because it will be journeying all the way to Southern California very soon and I needed to have a digital copy, god forbid anything should happen. Takes Me Home
This piano sounds like the one my family had in our house when I was growing up. Emotive and soft with a hint of string twang when play hard. Lovely Sounding

beautiful instrument
Nicely recorded piano with a unique tone to add to the collection...My only wish is for there to be an even quieter dynamic layer. Would absolutely love to hear this one barely register.
Beautiful sounding piano
These are my favorite kind of sampled pianos. The recording sounds great and the piano sounds great but in a really unique way. Has a lot of character to it that makes me always gravitate towards it. Only wish there was some sort of GUI, because I'm always going in to tweak the reverb since I like much dryer sound than what's built into the instrument. Amazing job!
A simple, beautiful piano
While this piano has no dynamics, triggers or any additional settings, it has a very beautiful character to it that you just keep want to play on. I wish it was a little more responsive though. Also, if you manage to hold the samples for long, like with the sustain pedal, you might hear some slight background noises that might be heard if you are just making a solo piano piece.
