The story

Recorded around 10-15 layers each of my voice –
(C0 – G0 – D1 – A1 – E2 – B2 – F#3 – C#4 ) as part of winter voices piano book project by Christian.

Created 5 patches while experimenting with the sounds through different plugins and pedals.

1. Voices
2. Enigma
3. Angels in the Sky
4. Memories
5. Studer Echo

Enjoy!:)

  • Just wow...

These sounds are so enveloping and atmospheric. They really bring you inside the world of the creator. They take a while to build up to full volume but this isn't an issue for me. They sound great in all ranges too. You get some really nice options in here. The voices patch is probably my favorite, its an extremely realistic and beautiful choir sound and im i remember correctly the enigma patch is a kind of scream in comparison. another patch has an underwater pitch bend quality to it. The GUI is very nice looking as well with simple but effective controls. This is probably the first choir patch on pianobook i would reach for although there are other amazing ones as well like winter voices and Michas Choir.

  • Super inspiring sounds

I think it sounds gorgeous and very usable. One of the better vocals in pianobook imo.

  • Great direction, could use some more variations

Not sure why there are 5 patches, because they all sound mostly the same to me with some very minor alterations - but then it might be just me and my untrained ears. Also kind of hate it when the knobs react to the mouse only moving horizontally and not vertically.

  • Sound Designy Vocals

Vocal samples which have been given an interesting treatment with an eye towards sound design. Always appreciate when sam-lists take the time to make multiple versions of their sounds, and the varied processing applied to these samples is very musical and useful.
