The story

I blended my 1930 Wurlitzer Baby Grand and my 1960 Gibson Melody Maker playing harmonics. I kept it pretty simple as an instrument but when adding some “splosh”
(Proper spelling?:) and especially some delay, it really comes to life. I also included some pads. I reversed and stretched the gtr harmonics and also recorded some pedal down resonance from inside the piano. The “Hybrid Ambient Harmonics Ensemble” is a multi featuring all of it!

  • A little tweak needed for use, but the sound is excellent

Very very interesting!!! It has such a nicely long release, I need to think how to mix it with others so it would have been better if it was controllable but it is definitely inspiring and beautiful.

  • For me this is the point of sampling....

...to create "instruments" that couldn't otherwise exist. Sometimes a Wurlitzer is just too cliche and a guitar is just too, well, guitary? For those time you have this. Beautiful plucky/ringy sound with lovely overtones. The multi is my favourite with the reverses adding almost random reverse reflections and the atmosphere adding, well, atmosphere. Hard to describe this, as you may have guessed, just download it...

  • Drops of harmonics

Piano harmonics, playable straight out of the box. I immediately put a Soundtoys PanMan Fx on it and started playing. Beguiling tone, very engaging, there's a cue or two in there. Bravo. PS Add a simple ADSR maybe?

  • Great and inspiring sound!

What a great sound this is! It's very playable, and works in so many contexts musically. I was left wishing for a way to easily control the drenching reverb, which is nice, but not useful in every context. It was easy enough to remove it by digging in, but it would have been more useful to have had a control for it on the GUI. Likewise, ADSR envelope controls would have also been useful. Again, something interested users can add without much trouble. Overall, this is a really great and inspiring library and a worthy download!

  • Maybe im just not into love childs

I feel the same way about this as i do about the piano and kalimba love child. Its well recorded, dynamic, controllable and playable but for whatever reason it just doesn't inspire me. Im usually head over heels for joshuas instruments. Maybe for some reason im just not that into these love child instruments. I want to stress that theres absolutely nothing wrong with it, its great but just doesn't speak to me for some reason. Again though, i see others are enjoying this which is great.
