The story

A Chord Organ that I bought in Oregon (hehe) for like 7 bucks.

I’ve sampled this with the volume slider open and closed, notes and chords, and at the bottom there’s these little key toggles for the motor noise found on the actual unit. Sounds like a slightly beefier melodica to me (maybe I’ll sample one of those soon, too!)

  • Warm and simple sound of piano

The sound is very close to the upright piano. Very simple and straight sound of Piano library

  • Accordion sounding organ...

If you hadn't told me that this was a fan organ, then I would have 100% guess that it was an accordion. As always, more customizability and a GUI would really help this instrument out, but it is otherwise fun to use.

  • Antique Accordion

This is definitely a unique instrument for pianobook. I named it antique accordion in my pianobook folder because thats what it sounds like to me. Its fairly dynamic for an instrument like this which is cool. I dont find it to be particularly characterful or interesting but i think it will be really useful in specific scoring situations. The Motor sounds add a nice touch of character and realism. While i would never use this in my own original music, i still think it could come in handy in other situations

  • One fat, vintage fan organ...

Its a bit noisy. but that's to be expected with Fan Organs. The chords are recorded a bit hot, as they peak the volume meter. But otherwise this provides a rich sound which I'm sure many will absolutely find room for in their sound collection.

  • A nice sound from a simple instrument!

A nice usable instrument straight out of the box. The tone and character has been captured well in the recording process and this is definitely an instrument that could be easily implemented into a template.
