Was thinking of getting it anyone go for it yet? I have been burnt by waves on mac before but from what i can see looks to be good. Any opinion of it for those who got it?
Hi there, yes I purchased the waves CR8, and have to say it is excellent on all fronts!
It’s only 10$, well worth it, very much like the sampler in Logic, with lots of cool functions etc.
One thing though, in Reaper, at the moment you can not drag media from the timeline directly into the sampler.
This was one of the reasons I purchased it, Waves tell me they are working on this.
So for 10 bucks definitely buy it!

Can you drag from the media explorer?
Hi, yes you can, personally, I just like the way in Logic you can grab a clip directly into the sampler, for me this workflow is quickest.
The Sample5000 VST in Reaper can import directly from the timeline, the sampler itself is pretty rudimentary though, but quick for sketches etc.
That said the Waves CR8 is great and well worth the money ($10).
