I use reaper and have come up with a solution of slicing the first quarter of the sample dragging to a track underneath and placing at the end with an equal fade out from the original track and an equal fade in on the 1/4 length sample track. So far it’s working well no clicks and fairly seamless transition. Any other way to achieve this or software solution that may work better.
There is one other free software that exports SFZ files called:
polyphone-soundfonts.com
It does more than loop points, and it is a bit odd to get used to the interface, as it was created to make
soundfont (sf2) files. As I said, it exports SFZ files which will have the loop points you choose in the SFZ text file.
