Kontakt Piano question – Release Triggers during pedal sustain

Hello, everyone!

I’m currently building a kontakt piano featuring multiple microphone configurations, sampled pedal down and up, felt on and off, some other extras, and all of this with release triggers with pedal down and up.

Now, I’m aware that kontakt has a weird interaction with release triggers and the sustain pedal, and I’m aware of the scripting that is required to change that interaction. David Hilowitz’s video on that (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoA2EP7X5I4) is amazing information for someone like me who doesn’t really know anything about scripting in kontakt.

The main question is this – since I have release triggers recorded with the sustain pedal down, how would I go about having them trigger upon note-off while keeping the pedal depressed? In other words, how would one go about having the RTs trigger as if no sustain pedal was active?
