I’m brand new to this and if anyone can provide a clear step-by-step “how to…” it would be appreciated.

You can either access it via the file tab in Kontact or use the quickload feature -> https://spitfireaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000312574-How-to-use-the-quickload-feature-in-Kontakt

There is more than one way to d this but here’s one that should get you going

1/. Open Documents and create a New Folder and call it ‘Pianobook Kontakt Libraries’. This can be changed later.

2/. Download the Kontakt zip file to that folder.

    3/. Unzip the file.

4/. Open Kontakt and click on the Load/Save symbol on the top bar (next to the Options cogwheel symbol).

5/. Click on Load… and then navigate to the folder containing the .nki (patches) and/or .nkm (multiple patches).

6/. Click on an nki to load.

Notes; A few patches have files in the wrong place and you will be asked to find that file; if so navigate to the main folder of that
library and hopefully it will find the correct file(s). If that fails go down a level deeper.

A few Kontakt patches need the modwheel to be adjusted to bring the volume up.

Kontakt Player will only work for 15 minutes before you need to reload it. And while you may be able to save any settings you
have tweaked, you will not be able to open them in the Player version.

    Thank you J
