You can’t add most of them directly into the library with a nice picture, which I find a pain anyway, but you can add then to the Database tab as follows. Instructions also below image;

kontakt database

1/ With Kontakt open, click on the Database tab

2/ Click on DB Options (if available) or Options

3/ Click on Database in the Options dialogue box

4/ Click on Add in the Options dialogue box

5/ Navigate to the folder where you have saved the unzipped Pianobook libraries

6/ Click on OK

7/ The folder location will now appear in the Folder / Volume list

8/ Click on Update and wait for the Database to be updated
It should take less than a minute

Click on the Libraries tab for registered libraries or Database tab for others.

There is another option of placing instruments in say, the Kontakt Factory Library so they will show up listed under Kontakt Factory Libray in the Libraries tab;
